I’m back! (so where have i been?)

for almost 3 months i was not able to write anything for this blog because i was to focused and too committed over something that i truly love to do. it was also a life long dream that finally happened. so what was i doing? where was i?

see this:

yes! i trained for 3 months for Globe’s pep squad for the Once-every-4-year Ayala Olympics. after 7 long years i was back into this sport, and added bonuse was that, now, i was under training w/ my ultimate idol pep squad – THE UP pep squad!

This was not part of my plans at all, just one day i saw the audition add, and it happend i had an extra shirt w/ me that day so i went to the venue, just to ‘check it out’. when i entered, i saw this beauiful petite lady (w/c happened to be our coach) wearing a black shirt w/ ‘UP Pep Thanderz” printed on it. i said to myself, ‘it na talaga to, UP pep na! bahala na kung nakamaong ako magaudition ako’… and the rest, as they say, was history.

it was a tatak UP training from conditioning to skills training up to the final run. and i say it was HARD. draining both physically and emotionally, but it was all worth it. kahit sobrang nakakapagod i’d gladly do it again. i learned so much from the training… patience, perseverance and goal setting were one major values i truly put into heart during this once in a lifetime experience.

and since im done w/ this, i’ll just give myself about a week’s rest and i’ll be back w/ my ‘normal’ life again lol.

next stop: cont. of my Bicol series and i will start my Puertto Galera entries after.
